Skylive — Remote Observatory
Together with a group of friends (F. Ballardini, L. Candiano, and M. Graziani),
we installed and operated our telescope (a 16-inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain) at one of the first remote observatories in Italy.
The Skylive Observatory was located on the slopes of Mount Etna, Sicily.
I personally used these instruments for astrometric follow-up of minor planets.
Our telescopes were in operation from May 2007 until February 2010, when the observatory was decommissioned.

Alessandro Volta Observatory
My mountain observatory with dome, mainly used for minor planet astrometry and NEO follow-up campaigns.
The observatory operated from January 2011 to January 2017. It was initially equipped with a 14-inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and was upgraded in January 2012 with a 0.40-m f/3.7 astrograph.
On 11 June 2026, the observatory was finally dismantled and the dome removed, thanks to the valuable help of my friend M. Graziani.
